The Foundation sponsors an annual Awards Event to recognize and honor the extraordinary men and women of the Lake Forest Police Department. The Department and the Foundation will acknowledge its members for their exemplary performance. Formal recognition improves departmental morale and helps challenge department members to perform their duties in a manner above and beyond the normal call of duty. It also highlights to the community, the dedication of Department personnel and the importance of the Department to the City of Lake Forest.
On August 21st, 2015 the Mancuso Family and Lake Forest Sportscars generously opened their doors to the Lake Forest Police Department Officers, Retirees, LFPF Board Members, and our Founding Donors for our Inaugural Awards Night. Guests were treated to test drives of a McLaren, a Ferrari, along with dinner, an awards presentation, and door prizes.
